Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00AM-7:30PM, with OT as needed
Pay: $17.01 per hour
Job Purpose: D.C. Outbound Operations expects a Full Case Order Picker Lead to be self-motivated and require little supervision. The candidate must exhibit a unique charisma to stimulate teammates to be high performers. This includes motivating and communicating, and driving teammates towards achieving D.C. Outbound Operations daily mission: To ship every order Complete, On-time and Error-Free, resulting in our Company vision.
Responsibilities:
- Make sure all LTL orders are shipped in a timely manner and shipped correctly (to include, but not limited to, contacting the trucking company to arrange pick up).
- Communicate with direct supervisor all issues as they arise.
- Become fluent with Lucas engage system.
- Cross train in the pick and other areas. Will Order Pick as needed.
- Building UPS and LTL picking assignments.
- LTL Bulk Full Case quantities picking using the Lucas Voice Picking System.
- Auditing orders for accuracy.
- Transporting cartons to staging locations carton count, palletizing, weighing, shrink wrapping.
- Transport UPS full cartons to confirmation for invoicing.
- End of shift staging of orders, cleaning work area.
- Taking completed orders to Shipping Office for Shipping.
- Other duties will be assigned from time to time either on a temporary or permanent basis which are deemed by the Supervisor/Lead to be consistent with the overall mission of Distribution Operations or the company in general.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Must be safety conscious and follow procedures put in place for operating man-up equipment.
- Must possess computer skills and ability to learn warehouse computer programs.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must show flexibility and willingness to work in other areas of the warehouse to support business operations as needed.
- Communication skills.
- Team player.
Required education and experience:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Lead experience is preferred.
- Man-Up, forklift Driver experience.
Physical demands:
- Fast paced operations.
- Overtime required (stay until last order is picked).
- Driving forklift.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
