About the Position

With the successful launch of our My Collection app, which now has over 100,000 users, we've expanded our marketplace to offer a new "Fulfilled by HipComic" service, where we accept bulk collections from consignors through the My Collection app - and then auction off each comic individually through our HipComic marketplace. The new Fulfillment Specialist role focuses on fulfilling those orders by shipping comics to collectors.

How You'll Spend Your Time

• Order Fulfillment Excellence: Ensuring each comic book is securely packed and dispatched, adhering to our high standards for shipping and handling to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Inventory Management: Accurately track, manage, and organize inventory levels of incoming bulk collections.
• Quality Control Vigilance: Conducting thorough inspections of comic books to validate their condition before shipment.
• Technology Leveraging: Using custom software for efficient order processing, inventory tracking, and providing updates to both consignors and buyers.
• Customer Service Champion: Acting as a point of contact for any fulfillment-related queries from buyers, ensuring a prompt and courteous resolution to enhance their collecting experience.
• Process Improvement Initiator: Continually seeking ways to optimize the fulfillment process, reduce shipping times, and improve packaging methods to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Feedback Loop Contributor: Collaborating with the tech and customer service teams to relay feedback from the fulfillment process, contributing to the enhancement of the My Collection app and overall service offering.

Qualifications:

• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail in packing and handling fragile items, ensuring they reach collectors in perfect condition.
• Efficient Organizer: Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, with a knack for prioritizing urgent orders without compromising on quality.
• Tech Proficient: Comfortable using inventory management software and apps, with quick adaptability to new technologies.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, essential for coordinating with team members and addressing customer inquiries.
• Quality Assurance Focused: A keen eye for detail, ensuring every item meets HipComic’s standards and accurately matches its auction description.
• Adaptable & Fast-Paced: Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, capable of quickly adapting to changing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.

Schedule Requirements
Employees are expected to work in our Raleigh Office Monday-Friday within standard operating hours of 8am-5pm Eastern Time Monday-Thursday, and 8am-12pm Eastern Time Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
