ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Fuels tractors, trucks and equipment after daily use.
Records mileage, oil consumption, and makes up work orders if necessary.
Checks belts, hoses, tires, lights, and pre-trips before use.
Maintains fuel island for daily use.
Maintains fuel in trailers as needed.
Works with management to maintain fleet when needed.
Maintains trailer for daily use.
Maintains yard, keeping trailers and tractors organized.
Maintains fuel island, oils, antifreeze, and washer solvents.
Works where needed as per Supervisor.
Performs limited electrical repairs.
Fills 2nd shift hours as per Supervisor.
Maintains fuel truck, keeping full and maintained.
Washes trailers and tractors when needed.
Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
