FTTH Coordinator

Job Description

One of our top customers is looking for help in their FTTH project in the Local Market.  This is a Long term contract multi year, and is great for someone with a FTTH, OSP background.

Our client is  seeking a Construction Coordinator for a long-term project Fiber to the Home Project. The Construction Coordinator is responsible for supervising and monitoring all construction activity completed by appointed construction vendors.  This person will provide quality control of the job design prior to issuing to contractors to assure the job is correct.   This person will be responsible to monitor the status of construction jobs to make sure intervals are met.  This job will be a 60/40 split of office time and time in the field

• Experience working as OSP inspector/ Field Supervisor/ OSP design
• Must have Coax or HFC or Fiber experience
• Preferred experience with CATV construction vendor or provider
• OSP. FTTH, Construction, Vendors, walkouts, Site Visits, Scope of work, Manage, Cost Estimates, Status, QC, Strand Mapping,

 

Supervise and monitor all construction jobs assigned

to contractors

• QC job design prior to issuing to contractors to assure job is correct

• Monitor status of construction jobs to ensure intervals are met

• Perform quality control (QC) on completed jobs and verify as-builts

• Perform QC on production reports and invoices to confirm proper billing

• Utility Construction Cost Estimates

• Project Walkout

• Stand Mapping

• Pipe Proofing

• Design Review and Approval

• Request for Proposal/Labor Bid Processing

• Material Requests

• Pole Permit Application Submittal

• Construction Contractor Management

• Manage Project Milestones to SLA

• Project Build Quality Assurance/Control

• Review and Approve Project As-builts

• Review and Approve Contractor Invoicing

• Update Workfront with Project Progress and Required/Requested Information

• Ensure Project Material Reconciliation

• Communicate with Developers, Contractors, Internal Departments, and all other parties involved to ensure timely project completion

• Other construction related duties
