Job Function:
- Conduct raw material supplier approval including review food safety documents.
- Manage multiple raw material categories, point person for designated categories.
- Request and review supplier documents follow up by phone or email as required.
- Lead supplier calls and supplier non-conformance investigations.
- Support plants with supplier non-conformance related investigations, communication, and root cause/corrective actions.
- Review supplier CAPA for non-conformance and provide feedback as needed.
- Compile and review supplier data.
- Conduct raw material and supplier risk assessments.
- Willing to travel to conduct supplier audits.
- Assist in warehouse audit and documents requests.
- Contribute to the writing and reviewing of corporates FSQA policies and procedures.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Bachelors or higher in food science, biology, chemistry, or microbiology
- Working knowledge of FDA, USDA, GMP, HACCP, and food allergens
- HACCP and PCQI certification preferred.
- Knowledgeable of GFSI audit schemes
- Need strong organization and communication skills.
- Highly organized, collaboratives, and self-motivated individual
