Front Welder, Level 1 - 2nd Shift

The Siemens Industry, Inc. distribution center in Roebuck,SC is seeking anFront Welder, to be an integral member of adiverse and dynamic team. You will operate the front (spot) welding machine,welding various size parts to larger finished pieces. 2pm-10pm
How will you make impact? You will make impact by the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working in a team.
• Working directly with or under the direction of a Group Lead and/or Supervisor.
• Reading blueprints and spot welds steel.
• May be verified for correctness.
• Working with ISO/work standards.
• Completing confirmation documentation via SAP data management system or DMM.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and working area to ensure functioning and safe working conditions and wearing appropriate PPE.
• Accessing and utilizing various documents, with the use of computers, associated with the manufacture of products in assembly for completion of confirmations (e.g. Quality and Safety Documents, Operating Instructions, etc.)
• Performing other work per Supervisor's direction.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience / knowledge in spot welding or general welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply basic shop math, digital literacy, and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools
• Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
• Work standing for the duration of the shift
• Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
