Front Office Supervisor

We are seeking a Front Office Supervisor to join our rapidly growing Pediatric practice in Harrisonburg, VA. Our office provides high-quality care in a supportive family friendly environment.

This candidate will preferably have 2+ years of medical office experience and be a strong team player. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines, and the ability to multitask.

Main Job Duties:

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner

• Answering phones and scheduling patient appropriately

• Check patients in and check patients out

• Collect patient balances and copays for appointments

• Verify demographics and insurance information and update as needed through our electronic medical record

• Relay patient communication to providers and nursing staff as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills both written and verbally

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally

• Medical office terminology and insurance knowledge are highly desired

• The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of working medical office knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
