The Care Management Support Assistant 1 contributes to administration of care management. Provides non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and well being of members. The Care Management Support Assistant 1 performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.
Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at 390 West Craig Road, Las Vegas, NV 89105
The Front Desk Specialist contributes to administration of care management. Provides non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain an optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members. The Care Management Support Assistant 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.

Use your skills to make an impact
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience with Microsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams.
  • Administration support experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in a patient/customer facing position within a medical office or healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrates excellent patient/customer service. Must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Professional demeanor and communication at all times
  • Familiarity with care and well-being resources, or ability to research and obtain information.
  • This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
  • Must be able to travel between clinics located at:6360 Boulder Hwy, Las Vegas, NV & 80 S Martin Luther King Blvd. Las Vegas, NV.

WHEN BILINGUAL OPPORTUNITY: Bilingual English/Spanish. Must be able to speak, read and write in both languages without limitations or assistance. See Additional Information on testing
Language Proficiency Testing
Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree
  • Experience with EMR's
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of Managed care and Medicare

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$34,500 - $47,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
