Position Overview:
Be concise.
What you'll do:
- Obtain vital signs
- Review recent lab result and any incoming patient health data from outside facilities
- Confirm appropriate dose, route and frequency
- Monitor for adverse effects of medication
- Coumadin Teaching
- Assist Providers during medical procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates of applied science of nursing from accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of Med/Surg experience
Physical Requirements:
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., use of computer keyboard); may require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 40 lbs.), including boxes, equipment, unit-dose cassettes, and IV solutions and stooping and kneeling (e.g., to pick up items from the floor, to remove and replace items on lower shelves, and to file documents in lower file drawers); sitting, walking, or standing for long periods of time (4-8 hours) is often necessary; must be able physically to operate the equipment used for the job.
