Job Description
The Delta by Marriott Minneapolis Northeast Hotel is looking for a Front Office Manager who excels at mentoring and training front desk staff. A passion for to serve our guests and a desire to provide a first class experience while staying at our hotel is first and foremost in this role.
Duties include the ability to:
- · Ensure that guests are greeted, check in and allocated rooms promptly and courteously.
- · Ensure check-in procedures are strictly adhered to and that the correct address, phone number along with email address and billing details are obtained from each guest.
- · Readily available at all times to deal with problems and/or complaints.
- · Ensure rooms have been serviced and maintained to the standards established by the company.
- · Ensure maximum room occupancy within agreed overbooking policy.
- · Be an effective liaison between reservations, bel, shuttle and Front Office staff with other departments (e.g. housekeeping).
- · Ensure all charges are correctly entered on the guest’s bill and maintained at all times.

- Balance accounts daily.
- Ensure effective and speedy check-in and out procedures.
- Work to ensure that luggage is delivered to and collected from rooms speedily.
- To ensure that guest inquiries, messages, event bookings are dealt with courteously and efficiently.
- Guarantee that all Front of House staff are correctly dressed at all times.
- Continuously shop the front desk, verify reservations to ensure that incoming and outgoing telephone calls are handled
