Front Of House Operations

RDS Automotive Group is seeking a full time Front of House operations manager to help oversee the restaurant within our Porsche Main Line dealership .

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Front of House professional to join our team. In this role you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of food production and service. If you have a strong background in the food industry, excellent supervisory skills, and a passion for creating delicious meals, we want to hear from you.

Duties:

● Maintaining health & safety standards.

● Assessing needs of the Front of House, coordinating, fulfilling or delegating any necessary

task.

● Communicating with all guests/employees at the restaurant, answering relevant questions,

communicating updated menus, inventory shortages, schedule changes, price increases,

etc.

● Communicating with the Chef at the start of the week for menu updates & changes.

● Communicating with the Back of House regarding a patron complaint, question, allergy, meal

modification, or any relevant communication regarding the restaurant.

● Communicating/coordinating Off-Campus lunch pickups with those at surrounding

dealerships through email.

● Ensure food orders are taken and produced correctly.

● Updating & maintaining all restaurant menus.

● Updating & maintaining the Online Ordering Form through Google Forms.

● Sending out weekly emails regarding the updated Ordering Form, ordering deadlines & any

updates within the restaurant.

● Formatting the Online Ordering Form information into excel format at the end of every week.

● Tracking all patron expenses into excel.

● Totaling all patron expenses at the end of the week & preparing the sheet for Accounting.

● Manage the Front of House cooler.

● Control cooler prices & inventory, identifying ways to generate revenue or cut waste

regarding sold products.

● Assessing inventory needs and purchasing as necessary.

● Train any necessary staff, get them up to speed on company & department policies and

procedures, ensure staff is upholding said procedures.

● Appraising staff performance as necessary, resolving conflict when needed.

● Regularly assessing any potential operational needs or profitability of the restaurant, front or

back of House. Communicating with the Chef & working in tandem to come up with a

potential plan, streamlining as necessary.

Skills

● Managerial/supervisory experience required.

● Microsoft Excel knowledge required.

● Google Forms familiarity preferred.

● Barista/host experience is a plus.

● Creativity in menu design.

● Strong knowledge of food safety practices & procedures.

● Ability to effectively manage shifts and prioritize tasks

● Excellent organization & time management skills

● Familiarity with restaurant operations & industry trends
