Front Line Server

Overview:

Jake's On The Lakes is seeking experienced part-time Front of House Servers to join our team to ensure a high quality level of service for our guests. (Morning/Day shifts Mon-Fri)

Qualifications:

• 3 years experience in the restaurant/beverage industry.
• Passion for the People, Place and Culture of our community, demonstrating enthusiasm for working in restaurants and providing guest service.
• TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol service certification or ability to obtain.
• Available to work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, weekends and holidays
• The ability to lift and/or carry a 40 lb load, and also handle heavy beer kegs in a safe manner.
• Must meet local age requirements in order to serve alcohol.
• In depth menu knowledge is necessary to ensure safe service to guests with allergies and restrictions.

Responsibilities:

• Well versed in FOH operating procedures. (Opening, Closing, Cleaning, Cash Handling, etc.)
• Ensuring guest satisfaction
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Responsible for keeping the restaurant clean and maintained.
• Be accountable for maintaining a working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients, and what is unavailable for the day as well as accurately accounting for all monetary transactions during your shift.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Complete required side work prior to shift end.
