As a Front-End Web Developer at CostQuest Associates, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing and maintenance of our newly launched SaaS software, including applications and interfaces. Responsibilities
- Scope, build, test and document SaaS products and features adds for our existing tools
- Develop and implement user-friendly, responsive web interfaces and applications using front-end technologies (CSS, JavaScript)
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to industry standards and best practices
- Assist in the deployment and release of front-end applications, troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the deployment process
- Drive development and internal standards on all technical aspects of front-end delivery
- Contribute to project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and user manuals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, back-end developers, and project managers, to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the overall design and development process
- Adhere to project schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of code quality and attention to detail
Position Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in commercial SaaS development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information systems, or related field
- Highly knowledgeable in CSS/JavaScript
- Experience with Python programming
- Have a working knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL
- GIS experience
- Experience in general web application experience
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and listen and learn from internal stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfort working in a fast-changing market
- Solution-oriented communicator with strong problem-solving skills
