ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented Front End Flutter Developer who will be responsible for developing market-leading web and Mobile solutions. In this role you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality, innovative digital products. This is your chance to contribute to a product that truly helps keep people safe. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the following front-End and Mobile technologies with a proven track record of implementing innovative software solutions to solve complex problems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain the front-end development lifecycle from concept and design to testing, deployment and maintenance across Android, iOS and Web platforms, ensuring high performance and seamless user experience that adds real customer value - utilizing a technology stack grounded in Flutter, Firebase and Azure cloud services.
  • Apply a strong understanding of OO and MVVM design principles and patterns to contribute to the development of robust and scalable mobile applications.
  • Deliver effective and automated product deployment through CI/CD pipelines, ensuring stable execution and deployment of the resulting web and app features, including Google Play and Apple App Store approval and deployment.
  • Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring application responsiveness across various devices and platforms and adherence to best practice security practices.
  • API integration including Front End components with back-End and third-party RESTful API’s.
  • Conduct unit and regression testing, both manual and automated to ensure code is of a high quality.
  • Performance of key agile duties including assistance with backlog and sprint management, estimates, troubleshooting and problem-solving – ensuring features are designed and built to specification without bottlenecks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues including the review and interpretation of logs, crash analytics and monitoring data, consolidating information into actionable items, defects and tracking.
  • Collaborate effectively with a passionate and dedicated team, providing guidance and support to foster team growth, development and high standards of quality.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and practices in Flutter, front-end technologies and Azure services to continuously improve development processes and offerings.
  • We are happy to also consider this role as a Senior Full Stack Senior Developer, with demonstrated commercial experience working with C#/.Net highly regarded.

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum of 5+ years of front-end development, with proficiency in Flutter/Dart.
  • Minimum of 3+ years hybrid or mobile native development experience, with a proven record of delivering mobile apps solutions to market including signing /packaging apps for Google Play/AppStore/TestFlight.
  • Proficient in the Dart programming language and deep understanding of the Flutter framework and its core principles including a strong understanding of User Interface design principles and patterns. Experience using Stacked Services highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating RESTful/other standardized APIs.
  • Demonstrated experience using deployment platforms such as Code Magic and experience with Azure cloud services.
  • Proficiency with testing frameworks and writing automated tests.
  • A genuine Team Player with the ability to work in an agile development/scrum environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with communication and collaboration tools that include Git, Confluence, JIRA, Teams and Figma, along with an ability to effectively document and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated strong organisational skills, with the ability to respond to changing priorities and manage competing deadlines, with a high attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong experience with C#/.Net will be very highly regarded.
