We are a growing and busy pet hotel seeking experienced and efficient Front Desk staff! Must be a go-getter and takes initiative. Must be comfortable to work with others and must be able to work weekends.
Our Front Desk /Sales Associates are expected to:
- Be self-motivated, able to stay focused and complete tasks without being prompted
- Work with a small team using effective communication skills
- Be able to multi-task and task manage a small team
- Have great time management skills
- Be a bubbly and bright personality at the front desk with great customer service skills
- Able to help in the back as needed which would include but not limited to
- Cleaning up after dogs and cats
- Maintaining and cleaning pet hotel sanitation protocols
- Loves animals and has a strong work ethic
- Able and not afraid to do physical labor
- Must be comfortable around all kinds of dogs big/small
- Not be afraid to get on the phone and makes sales calls when the lobby is clear
- Be responsible for cleaning the front lobby and ensuring that it is spotless per the protocols outlined - which you will be trained on
Daily responsibilities for our Front Desk / Sales Associate include, but are not limited to:
- Hotel client relations and customer service
- Cleaning/maintaining the front lobby and desk
- Handle dogs arriving and leaving
- Making/receiving phone calls
- Booking reservations
- Service sales and calls which includes upselling and making all services available known to the Client so they are aware of their options as you guide them into making the best decision for their pets stay
- Guest check in’s and out’s
- Scanning and filing paperwork
- Manage social media
- Handle card and cash payments
- Recording statistics and data
Our Front Desk / Sales Associates are people who can multitask while keeping a friendly smile for our clients and furry guests. They are the heart of the pet hotel and responsible for client relations, booking, social media, keeping statistics, sales charts, sending mailers, creating promotions, and especially managing the dogs and pet parents checking in and out at the front desk. We need our happy, warm and welcoming front desk staff to be the first and last impression in our clients’ minds.
You will also be trained to perform computer tasks and how to maintain sales statistics. We are looking for someone who LOVES dogs, who is passionate about working, likes customer interaction, and who believes in learning every day on the job and that keeping up with trends in the pet is a priority.

Applicants must:
- Be available to start ASAP
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have the ability to positively interact and handle all sizes and breeds of dogs (We do NOT breed restrict) and we have lots of huskies and doodles
- Enjoy interacting with customers in a fast-paced environment
- Have basic computer / phone skills
- Have a minimum of 2-3 years dog/cat handling experience
- Have a reliable means of transportation and flexible availability
- Be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US
- Have a valid Driver’s License
