Front Desk Staff/Dental Assistant

We are a small and fast growing general practice dental office seeking an experienced (mid-senior level) full-time Front Desk Staff/Dental Assistant to join our team.

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player with positive attitude, good people skills, and professional written and verbal communication skills. You must have a great work ethic, be punctual, and able to multi task. We are looking for someone that isn't afraid to take initiative, and can adapt to change.

The ideal candidate should be able to meet the following requirements and perform the following duties:

Front Desk Staff/Dental Assistant

• Knowledge of using Dentrix.
• Previous experience working in a dental office is required.
• Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism.
• Verify patient's insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Confirm patients’ appointments.
• Schedule patients for efficient use of doctor and staff time.
• Fill in cancellation and no-show appointment times.
• Manage recall and inactive patient system.
• Help explain office policy to patients.
• Collect payment from patients at the time of treatment.
• Make follow-up appointments as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
