Front Desk Staff
We are looking for a new addition to our location at Planet Fitness Norwalk, the position we have available is:
Part time, Saturday and Sunday, 2pm to 10pm.
Must be available for training during the week
Training hours are Monday - Friday between 10am and 5pm (training hours and days may very)
Job Summary:
1. Helps with the day-to-day responsibilities associated with accommodating guests’ arrivals, departures and requirements at the fitness center.
Job Accountabilities:
1. Greets and registers all member accordingly
2. Follows training when answers incoming telephone calls; professionally and effectively
3. Operates Point of Sale to process member purchases of retail and membership
4. Answers inquiries pertaining to fitness centers services and amenities
5. Handles member complaints or concerns while maintaining a high level of customer service
6. Relays Judgement Free Zone (JFZ) to all prospective members, by providing members with effective sale presentations through tours and phone calls
7. Performs other duties as assigned or requested, which include cleaning throughout the gym
8. Being able to stoop and bend, and stand on feet for long periods of time.
9. Ability to lift 5lbs or more.
10. Be available for weekends if needed
11. Being able to perform with a team mentality.
12. Basic Computer skills
Job Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Preferred 2 years of previous customer service experience
3. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Skills:
1. Written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and the ability to make decisions and problem solve.
