Job description

Join an amazing team working with fitness and wellness clients at our sauna and cold plunge studio in Farmington. Our clients are in LOVE with our studio, so we need employees who are "all in" with their own health journey. Come be a part of our team!

We are looking to hire Front Desk Sales Associates to assist the studio manager with managing our existing members, new membership sales, and other sales related activities.

If you are welcoming and love engaging with people, we're building a healthy community culture that you'll help build and shape. In studio, you'll help with 'front of house' duties, such as checking in members, scheduling members for new appointments, new membership sales, and creating a clean and safe studio. We are also looking for help with social media content creation and management, engaging prospective members through phone and text, and other duties related to a fitness recovery studio.

This job involves a lot of in-person conversations, as well as texts and calls. This is a great position for someone who is outgoing and loves connecting with people interested in fitness, health, and wellness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will also be directly responsible for maintaining our social media calendar. Prior experience with social media and a passion for creating content is a HUGE PLUS.

• Encourage and motivate prospects and clients who participate in sauna and cold plunge sessions
• Build client relationships and the VERVE Haus community
• Help enforce our policies and safety rules
• Attend staff meetings and ongoing educational presentations
• Handle member concerns, when applicable
• Assist our Studio Manager with studio functions
• Contribute to the studio’s social media presence
• Connect and communicate with community partners for outreach opportunities
• Help maintain equipment in clean and proper working order
• Assist with occasional off-site engagement events (as available)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Engaging personality
• Love of boutique fitness and wellness environment is a must
• Ability to communicate clearly and energetically via phone, text, email, and in-person
• Experience selling fitness or wellness membership is a big plus (but not required for the right candidate)
• Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
• Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals
• Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable, and adhere to schedules

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Starts at $16 with potential for additional compensation

TYPICAL SHIFT SCHEDULES:

Our studio is currently open for the following shifts:

• WEEKDAY MORNING SHIFT - Monday-Friday 6:45-9:15 AM (with some afternoon/Saturday shifts)
• WEEKDAY AFTERNOON SHIFT - Monday, Wednesday, Friday 12:45-3:15 (with some morning/evening/Saturday shifts)
• WEEKDAY EVENING SHIFT - Monday-Thursday 5:45 - 9:15 PM
• SATURDAY MORNING SHIFT - Saturdays 6:45 - 12:15 AM

There are opportunities to swap shifts and pick up additional shifts, too.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
