Full Job Description
Etheridge Complete Dentistry is seeking a full-time front office receptionist. Great communication and computer skills is a must. Knowledge with Eagle Soft is a plus! The ability to align with our mission statement is imperative.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
- greet patients by name upon arrival
- Set arrival indicators
- Call on late patients when they are 5min over appt. time.
- register new patients according to established office protocols
- assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
- verify and update patient information-address,phone number, health history, insurance, DSP.
- If no insurance breakdown-retrieve it ASAP.
- Reply to patients through email.
- Communicate pertinent patient information to the team-huddle or messenger
- Check messages and get back to patients before the next business day.
- Morning/afternoon chores
- inform patients of dental office procedures and policy
- enter all relevant patient information into data system
- answer and manage incoming calls
- schedule patient appointments
- confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol
- check daily appointment schedule and keep it full-pull from quick fill
- organize referrals to other specialists
- check in lab work appropriately
- collect and receive payments from patients at time of treatment-when needed.
- inform patients of financial treatment plan options-Dental Savings Plan, Care Credit, cash pay discount 20%
- prepare and mail billing statements
- sort and distribute incoming and outgoing post
- A willingness to help when needed with other tasks.
Teamwork
- All front office team members need to look for projects to keep them busy during slow periods.
- Proactively communicate with the back office so they know any changes in the patient’s financial status.
- Participate in huddles by providing vital information for customer service and case acceptance.
- Be prepared for Perfect Day meeting by reviewing the day’s patients with outstanding treatment needs and presenting to the team.
- Fully utilize administrative time to prepare for the next day.
- Embody the practice philosophy in all actions and decisions.
- Assist in maintaining the reception area and front office in a neat, orderly, and welcoming condition.
- Assist the clinical team in cleaning the rest of the office (trash, floors, restrooms, instruments, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 37 per week
