Job Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with administrative duties as needed: prepping upcoming patient files, appointment scheduling, filling records requests, verifying and interpreting insurance benefits, preparing and sending referrals for patient care, processing insruance orders for reimbursement, etc.
- Checking in patients and performing examination pre-testing and medical history for each patient appointment
- Maintaining/cleaning of glasses and ophthalmic equipment/machines and exam room (cleaning, organizing, restocking)
- Training contact lens patients who are first-time wearers on proper insertion and removal of contacts

This role works closely with our doctors in hands-on patient care. We are looking to train the right charismatic individual for this role, so experience is preferred but not necessary. Certification as a Paraoptometric available after the first year and additional certification levels are obtainable which can lead to increased compensation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 36 per week
