High pace, surgical specialty multiple physician ENT practice seeks a friendly, motivated, and reliable Medical Receptionist - 32-40 hours per week on average. The prospective candidate needs to have computer and telephone skills as data entry and patient interaction are major priorities in the job responsibilities. Finally, the applicant who we choose must possess a great attitude and strong interpersonal skills, enjoy working as a member of a team, be detail-oriented, be an adaptable learner, and have excellent time-management/multi-tasking skills. Requirements:
The position’s responsibilities include receptionist duties, such as answering phones and patient telephone triage, obtaining insurance verification/referrals for office visits, authorization for procedures, check-in/check-out tasks, and patient demographics/correspondence maintenance. Experience with AthenaOne is a plus.
Education:
High school graduation or GED. Completion of medical terminology course preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year of general clerical and computer experience preferred with exposure to medical terminology a plus.
