Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date
- Assist with medical billing and coding as needed
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information about office policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
Skills:
- Proficient in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
proficient in Eaglesoft
- Experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and understanding of basic dental procedures
- Familiarity with Eaglesoftx or other dental software is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
