Front Desk Customer Service

As a Customer ServiceFront Desk Representative, you will have the opportunity to engage with our diverse community of clients and their families to help them find the perfect classes, and contribute to the growth and success of our studio.

Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting customers at the Front Desk, answering inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing information about our classes and programs, and managing class registrations. You will also have the opportunity to promote and sell our dance merchandise, handle payments, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all customers. In addition, you will collaborate with our dedicated team of instructors and staff to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Greeting and welcoming clients, students and employees as they arrive and call the Front Desk.

2. Answering phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding products, services, or general information.

3. Assisting clients, students and employees with their needs, resolving complaints or issues, and providing appropriate solutions.

4. Promoting and selling products or services to customers, showcasing their features and benefits.

5. Managing appointments, scheduling or rescheduling bookings, and coordinating with other staff members or departments.

Providing administrative support such as filing, data entry, KPI's and organizing documents/records.

8. Maintaining a clean and organized Front Desk area, ensuring it is presentable and stocked with necessary supplies. Light housekeeping in the reception area.

9. Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.

10. Following company policies and procedures, including privacy and security guidelines.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in Customer Service or sales is a plus. Must be 18 years or older.

2. Proven experience in Customer Service, sales, working with children and the Arts or related field.

3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

4. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle difficult or irate customers with professionalism and patience.

5. Proficiency in using computers, including basic knowledge of relevant software applications.

6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

7. Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to promote and upsell products or services to customers.

8. Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a customer-centric approach.

9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volume customer interactions.

10. Flexibility to work varying shifts, and in the Locust Grove and Culpeper Locations, including evenings and Saturday's.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 05 – 25 per week
