We are looking for a Part-time Front Desk Concierge to serve as our residents' first point of contact. The hours for this position are 2:45pm to 11:00pm and 6:45am-3:00pm every other Saturday and Sunday. Some of the Concierge responsibilities include greeting guests, accepting and logging in of packages, announcing and greeting residents and guests, answering phones taking work orders, inventorying of keys and keeping desk area and files organized and clean. If you have a knack for customer service and are upbeat, outgoing, dependable and a team player, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable living experience for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Greet all residents and announce guests
- Answer and direct calls to the appropriate person
- Accept and inventory all packages and login to the computer system
- Record resident work orders in a computer program
- Take reservations for moving
- Accept resident drycleaning
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate with our valet staff to ensure guests are being assisted and first-floor amenities are clean
Skills
- Customer service experience
- Experience MS Office

- Ability to defuse and de-escalate situations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Portsmouth, VA 23704: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 2 years (Required)
