Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for Front Desk Ambassadors!

The Front Desk Ambassador is responsible for being the authority on all things Sunseeker-- you are the featured artist. You guide the guest through all aspects of their journey, from assisting them through the arrival and check-in/check-out process, to customizing recommendations for defining moments throughout their stay and always inviting them to return, all the while providing memorable service with style.

All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices, and procedures. 

Job Duties

  • Greet each guest that approaches the Front Desk
  • Efficiently, and accurately, check-in guest’s utilizing Maestro PMS, read all notes associated with the guest and carry out actionable items, as noted in their reservation.
  • Efficiently, and accurately, check-out guest’s ensuring that all charges have been routed to the appropriate folios, and the correct payment assignment is being charged.
  • Accurately post room charges in Maestro PMS, when needed.
  • Audit Arrivals each morning and place requests to other departments for Welcome Amenities.
  • Ensure all Amenities, or other items required to be in the room prior to guest’s Arrival, have been sent to the correct rooms.
  • Communicate thoroughly and accurately to fellow front office ambassadors and Front Office Management to ensure all guest’s needs and reservation requirements are met.
  • Thoroughly complete all shift reports with detailed information.
  • Maintain workstations in an orderly manner
  • Always have a present and attentive manner, especially while in the line of sight of Resort guests.
  • Communicate clearly with Resort Services for Housekeeping action items. This includes, but not limited to, Amenities in the room, dogs, guest requests, or any guest-reported issue that needs the attention of the Housekeeping Department.
  • Understand HotSos and how to complete Work Order requests for Engineering. Promptly issue Work Orders once a guest reports a maintenance need.
  • Work well with all departments – everyone is a teammate.
  • Thoroughly review all Groups, Events, Live Entertainment, and any other programming that is happening throughout the resort. Be able to communicate knowledgeably about what is happening in the Resort for the day.
  • Understand all areas of the Resort and be able to confidently guide guests to their appropriate destinations.
  • Maintain accurate time records.

Minimum Requirements

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered.  Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates. Candidates will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.   • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with Forbes Star, AAA, and Four Diamond standard a plus.

Other Minimum Requirements

  • Maintain a professional neat and well-groomed appearance complying with Sunseeker standards
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
  • Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
  • Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
