Duties:
1. Check guest in and out according to proper procedures.
2. Obtain proper credit is established for every guest upon check in and at time of bucket check.
3. Operation of Visual Matrix property management system to properly post all charges to guest and desk folios.
4. Responsible for handling all cash, credit card and direct bill transactions according to procedure.
5. Basic knowledge in taking or changing a reservation in the terminal.
6. Operation of PBX system.
7. Completion of all reports, i.e. VIPs list, high balance, check outs/ready rooms, room charges am/pm, discrepancy reports, am/pm housekeeping reports, bucket check.
8. VIPs are handled properly.
9. Ensure policy for safe deposit box.
10. Be aware of walk procedures.
11. Perform additional duties as required by management.
12. Keep current count maintained and balance with reservations.
13. Make sure bucket is kept current at all times.
14. Ensure daily reservations are blocked as necessary.
15. Use selective selling in order to maximize revenue.
16. Read Sales Group List daily to familiarize yourself with in coming/out going groups.
17. Read Hacienda Room updates daily to familiarize yourself with banquet/meeting room functions.
18. Read Log Book/Email daily to familiarize yourself with activities of prior shifts.
19. Must been neat and personable.
Reservation Duties:
1. Process all guest reservations and confirmation
2. Process cancellations, revisions and information up-dates or changes.
3. Assist reservation manager in handling group bookings and conventions.
4. Answer letters, phone calls and take/give messages.
5. Pre-block groups reservation effectively.
6. Perform additional duties as required by management.
