Job Description: Front Desk Optometry Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of the Front Desk.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
• Assist patients with filling out forms and paperwork
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
• Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
• Perform general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer service role preferred but not necessary
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• Knowledge of optometry terminology and procedures is a plus
