As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Duties: - Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude - Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a Point of Sale (POS) system - Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions - Maintain accurate cash drawer balances throughout the shift - Assist customers with locating products and answering any questions they may have - Ensure that the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked - Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, and exchanges - Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service at all times - Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: - Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required - Strong math skills with the ability to perform basic calculations quickly and accurately - Knowledge of retail math concepts such as calculating discounts, taxes, and change - Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus - Ability to handle cash transactions with precision and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude - Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices (for cashier positions in the food industry) - Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Location: Join our team as a Cashier and enjoy competitive pay rates, opportunities for career growth, and a supportive work environment.
