Front Counter Customer Service

Our Front Counter Servers are the primary point of contact for guests. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with the public and have a friendly, outgoing personality. The ideal candidate provides exceptional Customer Service and displays a positive attitude when interacting with customers. Responsibilities:

• Arrives to work on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts

• Provides excellent Customer Service, greets customers upon arrival, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner; answers phones promptly and courteously

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing and proper product rotation

• Proactively familiarizes oneself on all products offered

• Stocks and cleans shelves and display areas; ensures accuracy of item signs and pricing

• Maximizes sales potential through effective product display, customer interactions and suggestive selling techniques

• Performs opening and closing duties as assigned

• Immediately reports safety hazards and violations

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Operates quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, time-driven environment, while ensuring high quality Customer Service

• Ability to meet Customer Service expectations/standards in all interactions with customers and co-workers

• Ability to attend to customers and sell items proactively

• Ability/willingness to learn basic knowledge of all bakery products

• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness

• Ability to follow directions and procedures; effective time management and organization skills

• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team

• Strong work ethic; willing to lend a hand wherever/whenever needed

• Punctual and reliable

Experience: Entry Level - no prior experience required / strong willingness to learn

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

• Must have the physical ability to carry out the functions of the job

• Standing/walking 6-8 hours (in an 8-hour work day)
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
• Ability to work a flexible schedule

Required Availability:

• Tuesday - Sunday (closed Mondays)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
