French Speaking Classroom Assistant Teacher (Ft )

We're looking for a full-time individual to join our growing preschool (ages 2-5) program - a French-speaking Classroom Assistant. Duties include:

Pre-Primary Lead Teacher: designing daily lessons, implementing positive discipline to maintain a healthy learning environment. Assisting the Director with the implementation of the school day program, aiding with guided activities, recess, songs, lunch and learning - all in a French-speaking environment.

Classroom Assistant: Assisting the Director and lead teaches r with implementation positive discipline, helping with guided activities, recess songs, lunch and learning, all in a French speking environment.

Fluent French and experience with young children a must. Excellent references required.

About You:

• A fluent French Speaker
• Have loved your experiences working with children (inside the classroom or out -- as a teacher, daycare worker, tutor, nanny etc.)
• Have excellent communication skills
• A strong love for the Toddler and Preschool age group!
• Requires annual CPR training and pass State Background and FBI fingerprint checks
• Must complete a minimum of 30 Continuing Educational Units per state regulations
• Familiarity with the Montessori approach to education is preferred, but not required

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
