Freight Broker Agent

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and shippers to secure transportation services for clients.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable service.
• Coordinate and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Manage all aspects of the transportation process, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during the transportation process.
• Stay current on industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, rates, and carrier information.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Freight Broker Agent or similar role in the transportation and logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, compliance, and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients.
• Proficient in using transportation management software and other related tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of industry trends and market conditions.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Salary: $45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
