We are seeking candidates for Freezer Tech positions on the 2nd Shift. Hours for the 2nd Shift are from 5:00pm – 3:00am. Compensation for this temp-to-hire opportunity is $19.00 per hour. Interested? Dianne’s Fine Desserts has been serving up inspiring, mouth-watering, and memorable desserts for over 40 years. They are a leading provider of premium frozen thaw-and-serve desserts to the food service and in-store retail industries. Dianne’s product line includes cheesecakes, layer cakes, pies and tarts, brownies/bars, and individual minis and specialty desserts.
What a Freezer Tech will do:
- Responsible for proper flow of production, product quality, and area safety
- Maintain freezers clean and organized
- WIP count and organization
- Perishable freezer organization
- Waste tote area clean and organized (dumping of red totes)
- Maintain and report ice buildups
- Support any kind of raw, cardboard, or freezer inventory
- Responsible for allergen segregation #NEjobhunt
What you need to be a Freezer Tech:
- 6+ months of related experience
- Ability to safely maneuver manual hand jack full of product, weighing 1100 to 1300lbs in close quarters with or without reasonable accommodations
- Familiarity with factory policies regarding safety, quality, and GMPs
- Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, climb, crawl, kneel, bend, or squat with or without reasonable accommodations
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment
- Willingness to work in extremely cold environments ranging from -2 to -30 degrees (protective equipment provided)
