The Manager will assume 24-hour accountability in the absence of the Director to include fiscal, human resource, and operational functions. Demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the care of patients in the Emergency Department setting.
Maintains accountability for meeting and achieving all goals, targets, and regulatory compliance for Swedish Southwest ER. Demonstrates effective leadership in change management, patient experience, throughput, productivity, and the growth and development of a team. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the practice of nursing process and the ability to plan and provide for delivery of nursing services.

The ideal Nurse Manager for Swedish Southwest ER is a self-starter, flexible, adaptable, a creative problem-solver, has passion for investing in growth and development, and maintains patient-focus as the foundation of our shared vision at Swedish Medical Center. What qualifications you will need: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure Current BCLS, ACLS certifications through AHA or ARC, TNCC or TNS, PALS (AHA or ARC) or ENPC certifications Board Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) preferred Bachelor Science Nursing or Bachelors degree in health related field required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required Minimum of 5 years clinical RN experience required Three years progressive supervisory or management experience preferred Swedish Medical Center , part of HCA Healthcare’s HealthONE family of hospitals, is located in the south metro Denver area where it has been a proud member of the community for more than 110 years.
