We are seeking a passionate and experienced French speakingDance Instructor to join our preschool team in the Lincoln Square area. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching various dance styles and techniques to students ages 2-5. Your role will involve creating engaging and dynamic dance lessons, providing personalized instruction, and fostering a positive learning environment. April start date required. Local college and university dance students encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preschool dance classes based on the needs and abilities of students
- Teach dance techniques, choreography, and routines in various styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, etc.
- Provide individualized instruction to students to help them improve their dance skills
- Demonstrate proper technique and body mechanics to ensure safety and prevent injuries
- Choreograph routines for performances
- Plan and organize dance events, showcases, or workshops
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of various dance styles and techniques
- Ability to teach multiple levels of dancers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and the ability to motivate and inspire young students
Flexible Hours: 3 classes, 30min each, 1.5 hours a week total
Tuesdays OR Thursdays from 10:30-12 OR 11-12:30
