The Operations Manager at Home Franchise Concepts provides operational support and business coaching to facilitate business management and planning, measurement of key performance indicators, and annual goal setting and problem remediation. The Operations Manager is the first point of contact for their assigned franchisees and has deep knowledge of the business model and processes, suppliers, products, technology, and tools to ensure the franchisees are successful and have a roadmap to profitability.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Possess a keen understanding of the business models and be a subject matter expert in any all software or business platforms offered to assist franchisees succeed.

  • Have a fundamental knowledge of best practices in the following areas:

    • Design
    • Installation
    • Local Area Marketing

  • Much of the support will be provided in real time via field visits with franchisees - Other support will include scheduled support calls, response to emails, Cases on The Source, voicemails, and The Tailored Closet and PremierGarage Chat Groups on The Source.
  • Provide business consulting, guidance and planning advice to franchisees using the HFC business planner, ProfitKeeper P&L review, and DOMO.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new franchisees by teaching assigned topics and scheduling a regular cadence of calls with assigned franchisees after initial training concludes and continuing indefinitely.
  • Provide sales training assistance and advice to franchisees using the consultative sales model.
  • Solid understanding of business financial management and the ability to teach key principals to franchisees.
  • Assist franchisees with annual business planning including revenue & expense forecasting, strategic planning and monthly KPI measurement.
  • Conduct quarterly operational reviews to help franchisees identify and evaluate business opportunities and establish goals by using data and conducting trend analysis.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Business / Operations / Franchise / Sales experience required - Business ownership experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of designing with CAD programs a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Able to read and understand financial statements and financial metrics.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and business math skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines promised to franchisees and colleagues.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess a positive outlook with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis in Excel.
  • Comfortable using all forms of business technology such as: social media, Microsoft Office suite, SalesForce platform, various software & apps
