The Franchise Business Consultant is the first line of support for franchise owners and provides operational expertise and support to franchise clinics related to new clinic openings, operational training, One Page Business Plan development and follow-up, and helping owners to continuously improve operational effectiveness, patient satisfaction, sales, traffic, and profitability while protecting the integrity of the brand. Builds strong, credible relationships with franchisees and franchisee management by providing operational expertise, responding quickly to operational needs and always following up with answers, information and resources. Assists with operating business plan execution through frequent interaction, coaching, and consulting.

Franchise Support & Performance Improvement
Manages new clinic openings by outlining project timeline and resource needs; offers necessary training/guidance to include, but not limited to, clinic operations, POS system management, team member recruitment, and training and labor management. Works with franchisee during the week of opening to support team training; frequently communicates and visits the clinics to problem-solve, and provide guidance.
  • Perform in-person Brand Experience Assessments to help reinforce standards and basic operational/quality compliance, accelerating frequency as needed.
  • Facilitates training programs for franchise operations; provides operational expertise for the development of training programs, operational standards, and procedures.
  • Supports needs of the entire company if needed, by participating in urgent, problem-solving SWAT teams to help low-performing franchise units improve operational quality standards and profitability.
  • Assists in the delivery and rollout of new promotions, technology, operational programs, and procedures.
  • Act as primary liaison between the company and the RD/ franchisee to leverage resources, promote best practices and align business objectives.
  • Provide solution-based coaching & consulting to franchisees. 
  • Visit markets/locations for brand consistency and operational excellence in order to help the owner realize maximum return on their investment, and to maintain franchisee accountability and network consistency. 
  • Develop and monitor non-performing clinic action plans through continuous KPI reviews. Achieve targeted sales and traffic growth for assigned franchise clinics
  • Mediate and resolve disputes among franchisees, patients, and/or Regional Developers.
  • Assist and validate successful rollout and integration of system-wide programs and initiatives.
  • Provides timely, clear and informative communication and feedback to Supervisor and other company personnel as necessary, on issues which drive the improvement of the operating clinics' operations; stays abreast and communicates franchise best practices, proactively obtains knowledge and training in all areas of franchise operations and other areas of the business.
  • Conduct field training for the franchisee to assist their staff with performance initiatives.
  • Book travel and generate expense documentation while adhering to annual budgets.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-6 years in operations
  • Experience in a franchise organization preferred.
  • Understanding and ability to execute the company's established operational procedures.
  • Understanding of P&L statements and ability to note key economic drivers. 
  • Strong training skills – classroom presentation and on-the-job.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with franchisees.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills preferably with multi-unit experience
  • Must be able to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise
