THE ROLE:
The mission of the Franchise Business Coach is to support franchise locations by assisting them in a high-level capacity, operational, marketing and financial analysis, as well as provide advice and support for the Northeastern U.S. region of KidStrong's franchisees. The Franchise Business Coach supports franchisees goals and priorities by guiding franchisees through our brand standards and best practices. They assist with an annual business plan, and work throughout the year to reach success. The FBC provides sound marketing and business planning advice through regularly scheduled review calls, triage coaching calls, and on-site visits. There is a designated territory that requires frequent overnight and out of town travel. Travel is approximately 75% to the northeastern U.S. territory, which includes New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine as well as Ontario. This position is a key player in our growth strategy and uses experience in the franchise environment and business acumen to help KidStrong Franchisees.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Build franchisee relationships influencing franchisees to meet and exceed standards
- Coach and Support 25-45 KidStrong Centers per year by leading weekly coaching utilizing technology and assessments to drive sales, profitability and cash flow
- Provide sound marketing and business planning advice through regularly scheduled review calls, triage coaching calls as well as on-site visits
- Implement and evaluate compliance with corporate initiatives and brand standards in the franchisee community
- Provide the franchisee guidance, tools, and resources to effectively maintain staffing levels for their business
- Coordinate field training with training resources
- Provide and relay feedback to support revising and improving training materials with our TAC Team
- Provide the franchisee guidance in the implementation of the business operating software
- Develop detailed agendas for site visits to include pre-work and post-visit goals to be documented in the franchise operations software
- Conduct in-person site visits with franchise partners to include hands-on marketing activities, pool performance evaluations, financial performance coaching and compliance related inspections.
- Work with Finance to assist with collecting any payments and required documentation and certifications owed KidStrong, Inc. by the franchisee
- Provide operational input on the various aspects of the business based on franchise partner performance and opportunities and challenges gathered through coaching calls and pool visits.
- This position requires travel throughout the year with overnight stays and a minimum quarterly visit to our HQ in Frisco, TX
- Prior franchise leadership/consulting experience required; prior franchisee experience is a plus.
- Ideally reside in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania or other neighboring northeast state
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, build relationships and consensus, influence for good, and solve problems
- Google Workspace highly preferred
- Enthusiasm for travel to support Franchisee, a valid Drivers License with acceptable driving record, and live within 1 hour of a major metropolitan area with an airport
- Candidates must have prior experience supporting franchisees in a B2B concept
- Must have or develop a thorough understanding of managing all aspects of a KidStrong center:
- Financial Analysis (i.e. balance sheet, income statement analysis, operating ratios)
- Sales and Marketing (i.e. Outside sales skills, E-marketing, digital, and database)
- Support Site resources (i.e training, business development, production)
- Able to learn systems and train and assist franchisees as needed.
