Framer/Carpenter

Candidate will be able to do full range of rough carpentry work, including wall framing, setting floor and roof trusses, sheath floors and roofs, building stairs, framing basements, build garages, decks and 3 & 4 seasons porches. We are willing to train if necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to blueprints or specific requirements
- Assemble and fasten materials to create frameworks or structures, such as walls, floors, and roofs
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures as needed

Experience:

• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials
• Knowledge of construction management principles and practices
• Great communication skills
• Team Oriented
• Ensure work progresses accurately
• Oversee that materials and work area are clean and obstruction-free
• Able to lift 40 to 60 lbs.
• Able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolding and stairs
• · Must be reliable and punctual
