We are hiring a Remote Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst.
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is responsible for assisting the Director of FP&A in various financial management duties. The role includes gathering and analyzing historical data, drafting financial reports, and coordinating across the organization to create budgets and forecasts by department, legal entity and company consolidation. The Financial Analyst is also responsible for building and maintaining the systems and digital tools necessary for process automation, controls, and consistency.
*Prefer experience in Manufacturing or Subscription Services industries.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Preparation, distribution, and analysis of Monthly Financial Reporting
2. Analysis of key Financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
3. Development of action plans to capitalize on identified opportunities
4. Gather (through SQL, Access, etc.) and interpret large sets of data, analyzes results using statistical techniques
5. Identify, define, document and execute new process improvement opportunities
6. Work closely with other business areas on key Finance initiatives driving company growth and profitability
7. Work closely with management to prioritize business and reporting needs
8. Other ad hoc analysis and reporting as assigned
9. All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
2. 3-5 years experience of preparation, distribution, and analysis of Monthly Financial Reporting and analysis of key Financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
3. Development of action plans to capitalize on identified opportunities
4. Gather (through SQL, Access, etc.) and interpret large sets of data, analyzes results using statistical techniques
5. Identify, define, document and execute new process improvement opportunities
6. Work closely with other business areas on key Finance initiatives driving company growth and profitability
7. Work closely with management to prioritize business and reporting needs
8. Other ad hoc analysis and reporting as assigned
9. All other duties as assigned
