JOB SUMMARY

The FP&A Analyst II will be expected to maintain current and develop new financial insights and deliverables, understand CDCNs business operations and how they impact financials. The successful employee will be eager to learn, problem-solve, communicate, and meet deadlines.

JOB DUTIES

  • Maintain cloud-based financial forecasting system
  • Conduct strategic financial analyses
  • Promote cohesiveness in the office environment
  • Support day-to-day operations and client advocacy
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Demonstrate dependability
  • Demonstrate effective problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Exhibit computer efficiency
  • Assist with special projects
  • Maintain necessary skills and knowledge to coordinate workflow
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Participate in professional development and training activities
  • Prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Provide peer mentoring, training to coworkers
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
  • Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports
  • Working understanding of financial statements and CDCN financial structure
  • Maintain a cloud-based enterprise performance management tool
  • Assist with the development of financial models and analyses to support business operations
  • Use SQL server to mine relevant financial and statistical data to leverage in analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years previous experience preferred
  • Previous office experience preferred
  • Combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements
The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
