Location: Waterloo, IA
Duration of Role: 1+ years
Pay: $40.53 / hourly
Hours: 1st shift - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Utilize Creo software to create detailed 3D models of our products (Cores, Patterns, Gaiting, etc.) based on design concepts and technical specifications
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to understand project requirements and ensure accurate translation of ideas into 3D models
· Perform regular quality checks to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of the 3D models
· Design, model, and execute foundry simulations
· Plans, coordinates and performs design work for complex 3D engineering models and components.
· Exhibits detailed knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Standards and can apply it to many varied situations.
· Performs as expert user of 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) system with considerable experience in Top Down design work for complex 3D engineering models and components.
· May provide document maintenance and have responsibility for placement and routing of electronic circuits.
· May create Printed Circuit Board (PCB) fabrication drawings, plan PCB projects and create electronic schematic diagrams.
· Provides modeling leadership and counsel to other employees.
REQUIRED:
· 3 years of experience as a 3D Modeler, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating detailed 3D models using Creo software
· 2 years of experience using Creo Parametric (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) and other relevant Creo modules for 3D modeling, or other 3D modeling software
· Familiarity with engineering principles, such as tolerances, assembly requirements, and design for manufacturability
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in 3D models
· Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
DESIRED:
· Experience working in a foundry
· Pattern development experience
· Foundry simulation software experience (MAGMA)
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Additional notes:
Will need metatarsals for first day, business casual dress code. No travel associated with this position. Person may drive a Deere owned Gator after successfully completing training. Interviews will take place through MS Teams using video and the position will start onsite on the first day.
