About The Role:
In your pivotal role as a Founding Platform Engineer, you will be collaborating closely with our visionary co-founders. Your primary mission will be to architect and construct the backbone of our Internet-scale mesh network and develop the foundational abstractions for our decentralized services.
We are seeking individuals who:
Possess a passion for building innovative computer systems.
Have robust software engineering skills, with a proven track record of independently driving or leading projects.
Bring experience in building distributed/p2p systems.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of computer networks, including Internet routing and protocols like TCP, UDP, and HTTP.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Rust, as it forms the core of our tech stack.
Experience in developing systems that are both highly concurrent and scalable.
Knowledge in foundational elements of decentralized systems, such as p2p networks, consensus protocols, cryptography, blockchain, smart contracts, etc.
