Community for Sustainable Energy, www.cforse.org, is a grassroots organization dedicated to the practice of democracy in pursuit of a more socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable society.
We are hiring for entry level internship, full-time, and part-time positions with our campaign staff to:
- Raise public awareness of local energy policy
- Reach 100% Renewable Electricity in Northern Colorado
- Maximize distributed renewable energy in Fort Collins
- Get public schools to go solar
- Hold local officials accountable to their sustainability goals
Working with CforSE you will learn about sustainability strategies and you will gain skills in persuading individuals and institutions to take action. This is an excellent resume builder for a career in advocacy while working in a relaxed and flexible environment. A variety of career advancement opportunities exist based on ability and desire.
Internship credits available for students studying Human Dimensions of Natural Resources, Political Science, Ecosystem Science & Sustainability, Environmental Sociology, Env. Economics, and related studies.
Schedule: Must work at three days per week. Sunday - Friday available, 2:30-8:30 pm (training at 1:30pm for first week or so). Part-time available for student schedules.
