Forklift Operator Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)
- Operate forklift or other hand truck
- Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
- Move materials from warehouse to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
- Perform cycle counts as required
- Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped
- Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Follow and update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks
- Identify safety hazards in the workplace
- Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods
Forklift Operator Shift Info
- Day Shift, 7:00 am to 8:30 pm / Thursday - Saturday
- Night Shift, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am / Thursday - Saturday
- Night Shift, 7:30 pm to 8:00 am / Thursday - Saturday
Forklift Operator Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
- Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset
- Proficient in mathematics
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
- Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
- Current forklift license and certification
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to work night, weekends, and holidays
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
- Forklift Operator 4 years experience
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to work in the US
