This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
1. Basic math and computer skills.
2. Must keep accurate paperwork, including temperature logs, and have legible handwriting.
3. Rotate the products by date, load and unload trucks, and stack off boxes.
4. Must be able to communicate with proper personnel.
5. Ability to work in cold atmosphere- 10 and below.
6. Ability to work without direct supervision.
7. Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
8. Must be able to work daily overtime, plus Saturdays and Sundays.
9. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
10. Must abide by all department safety rules.
11. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders daily.
12. Must be able to change climate temperatures.
13. Must have, and maintain, forklift and pallet jack license within 10 days.
14. May be subject to rotation.
