Location: Cherry Point - Havelock, NC
ASCI Federal is currently seeking applicants to be considered for a Forklift Operator role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materials.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage of materials.
- Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of inventory movements and perform regular stock checks as required by the federal contract.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a secure working environment for yourself and others.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues for prompt resolution.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification/license.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must meet government requirements to gain access to military installations and systems.
