Job Description
Summary: The forklift Driver is responsible for operating the forklift. Move/ remove finished goods or materials from machines and conveyor lines. Facilitate production goods to machine operators. Receive material with and without pallets (Bale Pack)
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift in a safe manner
- Complete and document daily forklift inspection before/ after each shift
- Report damages / required maintenance work orders as needed for repairs
- Deliver appropriate stock to machines before start of the run and during the shift
- Remove all WIP from machines and conveyor lines
- Maintain orderly, neat, and safe stacks of stock in storage areas
- Complete necessary paperwork
- Record all stock material on computer and delivery receipt
- Ensure all product is properly stacked and stored
- Secure loaded materials for transportation
- Perform other duties as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
- Warehouse / Forklift Experience
- Forklift Certified (sit-down)
- Must be able to operate a sit-down propane forklift
- Use of computer skills
- Strong organizational & communication skills: Writing, Speaking, Reading
- Bilingual: English & Spanish
