LOCATION
Windsor, CT
WORK SCHEDULE
12 hour day shift 6:00am-6:00pm
SUMMARY
Responsible for loading and unloading trailers, moving materials to and from various areas, as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Load and unload trailers of incoming and outgoing material using a fork truck.
2. Load skids into racks using reach trucks.
3. Provide materials to staging area, shipping department, sample requests and recycling trailers.
4. Perform physical inventories and quality checking of all materials.
5. Repack materials and utilize floor scale to verify counts.
6. Keep work area and warehouse clean and organized to provide a safe work environment.
7. Comply with company rules and regulations.
8. Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.
9. Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve operating efficiency of the department.
10. Keep manager/supervisor informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives.
11. Perform other related duties, as required, to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or GED plus 1-2 years experience in operating a forklift, or equivalent.

· Good organizational skills
· Ability to operate a forklift
· Ability to operate Raymond reach truck
· Ability to follow procedures and documents

Our Windsor facility is itself the largest Post Office between New York and Boston.
Nevertheless, we remain family-owned and operated and true to our roots, which means we provide an exceptional level of customer service and quality for every customer. We are financially stable and continue to grow and invest in our company. In 2012, we completed an addition of 40,000 sq feet to our Windsor facility to accommodate the growth of our business. We also added additional offset equipment and a second Océ Jetstream digital inkjet printer in addition to numerous insertion and bindery equipment upgrades.
