ABM is looking for a hardworking Forklift Driver. Valid Driver License, Good Driving Record and forklift experience required.
10 hour Shift Mon-Fri
Forklift Drivers are responsible for performing an array of duties such as, receiving and processing incoming waste materials, picking and filling orders from processing line, loading trailers, organizing, cutting and baling cardboard and trash.
Essential Functions
- Ability to work in a safe manner and follow all safety procedures and protocols.
- Certified Forklift Operator a must.
- Ensure that quality services are performed as contracted.
- Assist manager with control of supplies and equipment necessary to meet customer needs.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Attend ABM training workshops when scheduled.
- Compliant with company policies and procedures and all federal, state, and local government regulations.
- Follow direction from ABM supervisor and management.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment as needed (i.e. forklift, tugger, compactor, baller, etc.)
- Assist with management of general trash, cardboard recycling, wood pallet waste, manifested and miscellaneous waste.
- Collect yellow and blue bag trash hoppers when full, haul to processing area and empty into proper compactor. Use outside roll-offs to disposes of trash.
- Collect cardboard hoppers when full, haul to processing and load into baler.
- Operate cardboard baler when full and ready to make a bale. Assist with tracking inventory and scheduling of pick up. Load carboard trailer and collect paperwork as needed.
- Pick up pallets, wood waste, and load trailer as needed. Assist with tracking inventory.
