Forklift Operator

MACHINE OPERATOR AND FORKLIFT OPERATORS

PAY: $20/HR and 20.75/HR depending on shift

SHIFTS:

1st: 5:00am-1:00pm (Monday-Friday)

2nd: 1:00pm-9:30pm (Monday-Friday)

3rd 9:00pm-5:30am (Sunday-Thursday)

Overtime is available!

LOCATION: Lebanon, TN

Description:

We are looking for a machine operators. that would consider themselves mechanically inclined. This candidate will operate tandem presses to join or bond metal components, produce, verify, stack, and sort metal stampings by performing the following duties:

Manually loads parts or blanks into machine and places parts into inventory baskets

Inspects components and assemblies visually for quality defects including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, missing welds, etc

Inspects parts for quality defects

Measures parts to insure they meet specifications

Records and reports production, quality and inventory information accurately

Monitors weld machine or press for proper operation and reports any malfunctions or problems to supervisor and maintenance

Performs all duties and operates machinery and equipment according to TOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, earplugs, etc.)

Labels and/or tags parts and baskets accurately

Performs routine and preventative maintenance and setup including, but not limited to, die setting/fastening, machine lubrication

Tools utilized include hand held pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, die bars, etc

Forklift is using both sit down and stand up moving automotive parts. will load and unload from the manufacturing side to the warehouse side.
